Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti means love, reverence, adoration
It is the yoga path of love and devotion.
Bhakti yoga is the highest knowledge. Those who love God come to God. In this way yoga is about to achieve inspiration and inner opening, and go to the pure, all-encompassing divine love. The boundaries of the individual consciousness be resolved here and a state Cosmic Consciousness reached. The divine will can be manifested as the practitioners.
The Bhakti Yoga Art can be found in the four directions of Hinduism, Vaishnavism, Shaivism and Shaktism. Mostly it presupposes a dualistic conception of God, because we assume that love need an object. Bhakti is hereby a path of personal reference to a chosen deity (ishtadevata) where God then just accept that form which has chosen for his Bhakti Yoga practitioner. If he worships God as Durga or Kali, God will appear as the Divine Mother. If He is revered as Rama, Krishna or Dattatreya, He appears as Rama, Krishna or Dattatreya.
